Why Electrickit?

With today’s high electricity prices and ecological pressures some may feel the days of an “on all the time “appliance are numbered.

The “Electrickit” conversion is available for 2, 3 and 4 oven AGA cookers. The kit was launched in the autumn of 2012 so just over 10 years ago. We attended the launch and O’Briens fitted kit number 0008 and now the kit sales at the last count are nearly up to 2500 sold by Oilwarm the manufacturer based in Devon. In short we have been quietly fitting these conversions for over 10 years now with a great many satisfied customers. Our experience in this field is second to none.

Where can I come and see one ?

We have a 2 oven, 3 oven and an older traditional style 2 oven AGA which you can come and see all of which have been converted to Electrickit. (Alongside you can also compare the conversion with the E control conversion now also available)

Here at the farm we have two holiday lets and have an AGA  in each one with an Electrickit conversion. There is a simple laminated set of instructions and we have had no complaints and no component failures in the last couple of years they have been installed. This of course means the appliances are being used by different people each week. All of this is a testament to the ruggedness and simplicity of the conversion.

We can offer pre-loved and fully reconditioned AGA cookers with the conversion at very reasonable prices, this is due to the fact that our company overheads compared to many others are minimal. The quality of our reconditioned appliances is 2nd to none as someone once said the “devil is in the detail” and we most definitely agree.
